Montrose Bird Sanctuary

Montrose Harbor, now a natural habitat for migratory birds, has had a history of human influence on the site. Using the idea of "designing nature" [rammed earth, plants as modules, integration of a human seed planting program] the history of the site is revealed, and the environmentally sensitive area is preserved.
